TiG enhances Sales and Marketing function with new senior management hires 

In the wake of TiG’s acquisition of ThirdSpace, the company continues to invest in and grow its senior leadership team to better deliver identity, security, and cloud transformation services to clients. 

 

Rich Best, previously UK Sales Director for cloud technology solutions provider SoftwareONE, joins the company as the Group’s Chief Sales Officer – taking over from Nick Lamidey who has decided to step down after 11 years leading the ThirdSpace sales team. 

Joining the business as the new Director of Marketing will be Gareth Rees Jones. With over a decade’s worth of marketing experience operating in the technology sector, Gareth will be leading the marketing strategy for the Group.  

Both Gareth and Rich will be working closely together to expand our cloud transformation services into new and existing markets, whilst setting a new bar for client experience and success.  Nick has decided to hand over the sales reigns of the company that he has helped build, as he takes a different direction in his career and future.

After five years leading Alliances and Marketing, Alastair Rees will focus on leading the partner strategy as Head of Alliances and will team up with Gareth and Rich to further TiG and ThirdSpace’s standing as a leading Microsoft partner. 

These two senior hires bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a network across Microsoft that will further enhance our reputation as a leading UK partner. It’s an exciting time at TiG, as we continue to serve our clients with innovative solutions centred on Microsoft technology.

This combined experience across the worlds of sales and marketing in the IT sector will be a significant asset in ensuring TiG services provide a unique and valuable proposition to clients.
